BenQ Launches nReader K61 e-Book Reader

Sony has updated their eReader lineup, and it’s no surprise as others follow suite, BenQ has announced the successor to its nReader K60 e-Book reader by launching the nReader K61. Unlike its predecessor, this new model comes with 3G connection. Not only that, the device also sports a 6-inch 800 x 600 capacitive touchscreen Sipix display with 167 dpi and 16 grayscale, a 2GB of internal memory, an SD card slot (up to 16GB), WiFi, a mini-USB port, a 3.5mm headset jack, a 1480mAh battery and supports a wide range of file formats including ePub, PDF, HTML, TXT, DOC, EBI, JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF as well as MP3. The BenQ nReader K61 is currently available in Taiwan for a retail price of NT$9,990 (about $319).
